Depression

For those that suffer total Depression,(major/clinical)
There is vast temptation to seek(crave) attention....
That's not to say it's done on purpose, since so much lies beneath the surface.
Bubbling air, breaks through with a yelp....a metaphorical burst--A cry for help!

A dream-like state evades thorough detection,
Without notice of self, comes an insane protection....
From reality's undeniable hard truth,
The future's secured, but it's stolen my youth.

Curiosity kills...
Yet both are essential is removing great ills.
